LGV Class 1 Drivers Monday to Friday, day and night shifts available

You will be required to have a Digital Tachograph card

The role will require you to carry out driving duties in a safe, legal and responsible manner with high regard to health and safety, driver eu regulations and working time directive.

Forklift Driver required at Welwyn Garden City Depot  Sunday to Thursday shift 9pm to 7am   

Competitive salary packages are on offer.

PW Gates Best New Depot 2010

Six depots qualified for this award, all of which have adapted well to the Pallet-Track way of life, which made it a very hard decision for Pallet- Track’s Board of Directors to make.

Unfortunately I was unable to attend the Gala Evening but when I heard that we had won the award for ‘Best New Depot’ I was absolutely delighted. It recognises our efforts to provide a high quality service to our fellow members and at the same time to grow our input volumes from our customers. We can only do this with the commitment of our drivers, warehouse and office staff that have really pulled together in sometimes difficult circumstances such as the weather! It’s not often that a haulage company among thousands gets recognition so to receive an award such as this makes it all the more worthwhile.

Urban trailer – the solution to rural deliveries

PW Gates Distribution of Welwyn Garden City has added a brand new purpose-built urban trailer to our ever-increasing fleet.
Although 4.5m shorter than a ‘normal’ trailer, it has a fixed double deck at the front giving a capacity of 26 pallets of varying sizes, a tuck-under tail lift for those delivery points without a forklift truck and a self-steer rear axle which allows access to most London streets that would normally need a small vehicle.
Having a weight capacity in excess of 24 tonnes it can replace two smaller vehicles thereby reducing pollution whilst still being able to deliver in urban and rural environments where access is restricted.
The Urban runs within a 50 mile radius of our depot working on our groupage operation & local Pallet Track deliveries and allows more flexible utilisation of our tractor fleet.
